We did a trip to our favorite place up by the Wyoming boarder. Flaming Gorge. It gets its name from the red rocks that stick straight out of the water up to a 1000 feet high. The channels of the lake are only about 200 feet deep. We went on the trip with two other couples.

Flaming Gorge Dam. It is 400 ft deep or high....depending which side of the dam you looking at. They said if the dam broke it would take a boat 15 minutes to be in south utah at lake Powell.

We took the elevator down to the bottom of the dam so the kids to see the fishies.
