We took our Sunday drive up through Big Cottonwood Canyon over the paved and dirt roads to Midway. Then through Sundance up over the Alpine Loop.

Hiking

There's always a treasure at the end of trail. This is a 6 foot tall bull moose, weighing in somewhere around 1200 pounds. Our 4 mile hike was worth it, after finding this beast!

Kids

Tiffany is standing all alone and ready to take off after Tristan. This is what I hear all day from Tristan is "me sissy, no sissy, move sissy, where's sis." All Tiffany says all day is da da, ma, and whispers and points, what's that. Tristan is trying out his backpack so he can be like da da. Lance lost his last baby tooth yesterday. The dentist put it in a little box for him. We showed Tristan that if you put your tooth under the pillow the tooth fairy brings you money for it. Lance said he better get at least $5.00 for his last tooth.

Hiking

We spent another Sunday hiking in the mountains. This time we hiked a mile up to Cecret Lake. Although it doesn't seem like a difficult hike, when your 10,000 feet up your huffing pretty hard with the thin air. Tiffany likes the backpack as long as you don't stop moving. She likes to yak and scare the animals away. Tristan is in the other back pack putting his finger to his lips say, "shhh" to Tiffany. Afterwards we stopped at Snowbird Resort to have a beer and bratwurse at the Octoberfest.
